FTF Innovation Awards - Best Professional Services Provider | ReconIQ

April 2026

ReconIQ has been shortlisted for Best Professional Services Provider at the 2026 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards — one of the most respected recognition programmes in post-trade operations and capital markets.

The FTF News Technology Innovation Awards celebrate firms and individuals that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and client service across the securities and financial technology industry. This year's shortlist was drawn from hundreds of nominations across 33 categories, with nominees selected through a thorough review process by the FTF editorial and research team.

What the FTF News Innovation Awards nomination recognises

ReconIQ was founded on a straightforward conviction: that financial institutions deserve reconciliation advisory that is entirely free of vendor influence. No implementation commissions. No preferred partnerships. No advice shaped by commercial relationships with the firms being evaluated.

In practice, that means clients receive independent guidance across the full reconciliation lifecycle — from initial Health Checks that identify where frameworks are underperforming, through vendor selection, operating model design, and implementation oversight — with the sole objective of delivering better reconciliation outcomes.

Since launch, ReconIQ has worked with banks, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, and payment institutions across the UK, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the Gulf region. The firm's team brings decades of hands-on reconciliation experience, including Principal Consultant Iain Colquhoun, whose forty years in post-trade operations spans some of the most complex reconciliation environments in global financial services.

A milestone for independent advisory

Marc McCarthy, Director and CEO of ReconIQ, said:

"Being shortlisted alongside some of the most established names in post-trade technology is a genuine honour — and a validation of the model we've built. Vendor-agnostic reconciliation advisory is still a relatively new concept for many institutions, and this recognition helps demonstrate that independent expertise has a real and valuable place in this market."

Vote for ReconIQ
