We are kicking off the new year with a bang! Our senior consultant, Marc McCarthy, recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by Eugene Grygo at Financial Technologies Forum (FTF) on the topic of the current state of reconciliations and the role of AI and ML in this space.
From Marc's perspective, the reality is that a) reconciliations have become more widespread, increased exponentially in volumes and are more complex than ever; and b) AI and ML are yet to make an impact on how reconciliations function. He predicts that this will change in the near future but before that can happen, we need to determine a industry standard to model risk governance and better process optimization.
